Web Specialist

This is an individual who maintains websites. This individual might be responsible for updating the content on the website, fixing bugs and ensuring maximum uptime. They will work with a team, offering support and advice to clients and colleagues. They will be responsible for developing and implementing the website style guidelines. They will have fundamental knowledge of HTML/CSS and web standards. This individual will need to be persistent and have the ability to work under pressure.

Web Designer

Web Designer

This is an individual who is fluent in HTML/CSS and knowledgeable about web standards and usability. This individual needs to be creative and have an artistic flair but also be able to understand technical specifications. Many individuals enjoy the creative aspect but it is also important to realize that designing web pages is not just a creative role; it also supports a business end, whether that is driving sales or building the company’s brand. Web Designer’s will create the front-end of the site, creating the look-and-feel of the site. They take the concept to reality.

Web Developer

Web Developer

This is an individual who specializes in the back-end development of a web application. They add functionality to a website. This individual will have experience with databases and client-side and server-side scripting languages. They will also be fluent in HTML/CSS and knowledgeable about web standards and usability. This individuals needs to have the desire to make things work and have the ability to solve problems.
