Make-Up Lab

Students are fortunate to have the opportunity to make-up time or use the lab to work on current projects. If a student is going to be absent they may make up their time in advance by attending a lab session. If a student is in attendance trouble, they MUST complete their make-up time before they reach the maximum days allowed. Students are eligible to make-up 18 hours (part-time), 30 hours (full-time) per semester. Once you have achieved your total make-up hours, you may still attend the lab to work on course work.

Students must be in the lab for a minimum of 30 minutes to receive credit and are required to work on program-related assignments. Time will be credited in increments of 15 minutes after the initial 30 minutes. Students must sign in and check in/out with the lab assistant in order for time to be properly credited. Students will maintain all of their documentation. In the event that the make-up time does not show on their attendance report within two weeks of attending, they will need to contact the instructor with their documentation. No food or drink is allowed in the lab, other than bottled water.

While in the lab, students need to work on school work, no games, no cell phones and no sleeping.

Additionally, it may be possible to arrange for make-up time with the instructor in the classroom. This will depend upon seats available in the class. A student will need to clock-in to receive make-up time.
